Ashley Madline
Ashley joined Nexus-Gerard's outpatient services in July of 2024 to pursue her interests in providing direct mental health care to those in the community.
Education/Experience: Ashley received her bachelor's in social work from Winona State University in 2017 and then went to work as a CAC/CADI/BI waiver manager. After that, she transitioned to working as a medical social worker and decided to return to Winona State to earn her master’s in social work in 2024. She completed a dual clinical internship at Mayo Clinic St. Mary’s Hospital with their long-term neonatal intensive care unit and pediatric palliative and hospice team.
Specialties: Grief and Loss, LGBTQ+* Community, Transgender/Non-Binary Community, Individuals who have experienced domestic violence/sexual assault/stalking, Individuals with medical complexities, Individuals with autism, Families with members who have autism. Ashley practices trauma-responsive care and takes a strengths-based approach to her work.
Interests/Hobbies: She is originally from Wisconsin but moved to Minnesota for college and never left. Ashley recently moved to Austin, MN from St. Paul, MN to be with her husband. She loves reading, coloring, listening to music, going to the theater, doing embroidery, watching movies, and spending time with her fur babies.
